We got Noah for David's 26th Birthday present from someone where I used to work. I didn't like cats, but agreed to one because they eat spiders and bugs...and my husband is a cat freak.David was allowed a cat on my conditions; had to be a short-haired, orange cat and I got to name it.
We went to the house where Noah was born and got to choose between three orange cats. Noah was the only one with green eyes (as opposed to blue) and was pretty laid back. I chose him because he was the only cat who stopped romping with the others to come sit next to me and stare.![]()
He was a bratty little kitten...utterly adorable, but felt I was his play toy and he bit and scratched me to the point of sending me into tears. Thanks to his kitten stage, I learned how to train a cat not to bite, scratch or attack people as well as to not to hurt our furnature or carpet.
Noah is my heart kitty. Wieghing in at 20 pounds, my LONG-HAIRED maine coone mix is a doll. He sleeps on my head at night and calls for me when he's not in the same room as I. He sits on the toilet while I take my nightly baths and keeps me company on the couch while we watch TV.
Noah is 2 years and 8 months old and is a little bit of a brat to people other than David or myself and hates Olivia. We're working on those things, but other than that, he's perfect!
