On a serious note, I have read on numerous occasions that cats should not have tap water - it contains far too many chemicals, and they should drink either distilled or bottled. My girls have bottled.
The tap water here only has flouride, which I don't like. Flouride is supposed to have the oppisite affect on dogs than people if they get too much. Not sure about cats though.
