If you buy the cd and make a mix for yourself- you have broken no laws. If you steal music to make your mixes, however, you have broken a law. You also can't copy your cds to give to other people.

That's why I don't think what I do is illegal. I buy a CD and make a copy for myself...........no one else touches it. If I were making copies for friends.....now THAT would be illegal. I wouldn't do that, although more than half the world does.
