I'm so sorry you have lost your precious Gidjet! That's so sad!

And don't mind those at school who think you're crazy because you've cried over your kitty! When I lost my Katz, I cried all day at work and my boss removed me from the entrance hall. I went home later, I was just heartbroken. People who never experienced the love of an animal will never understand that!

To answer your question: As far as I know, your other kitties that have been vaccinated against pan leukemia before Gidjet has arrived are most likely not in danger. I think the poor Gidjet kitten has already had it before she got vaccinated, and unfortunately, the vaccine can lead to a break out when the cat is already infected. I guess this is what happened to the poor baby and her litter mates.
