Oh Anna, that's so sad. I'm sorry for you both.

It's very understandable, with company over & the dogs,kids,
a sweet baby to fuss over, etc. It's an unfortunate accident.
I 'd probably send or give her a card also, or send some
flowers & a note. R.I. P. little birdie. I know you must feel
as bad as she does about this, but please don't blame yourself.
