Why in the world would they get on your case about having someone who was training you check your work? (I still have someone proof-read my work for spelling errors)

Sounds like a bunch of tight a$s people that I wouldn’t want to work with or for. I’ve been “temporarily employed” by people like that before, too. And the “temporary’ was my choice. If I were you, I’d move on, too!
