I can't imagine anyone abandoning a pet in a car especially in the summer time.
I think that we as special cat-lovers have a tendency to believe that we are the only ones who are capable of adopting any cat into a loving home. I know I inherently believe this, and the attitude causes us to accumulate many furkids. Currently I am unable to take in any more furkids, becuase I already have a house full.Right now, as I am attempting to write this I am surrounded by 8 kittens.
Two days ago, I cleaned up my basement, covered over the winter cat-door entrance and opened up this part of my home to my extended family.thus providing double floor space for them, (appx 6400 sq ft.) Apparently, they love it down there because some of them do not come out unless they are hungry, not to mention it is about 12 degrees cooler in there than up in the main part of the house .
I am sure that this little tuxedo cat will be adopted into a loving home by someone in the area. Thanks for sharing the picture and her limited history.
