Kia's got eyelashes! I too just noticed hers a few months ago. Not sure how I missed 'em before.


Can't really see them that well here.... they are medium in length and dark brown.. almost black.

More great eye shots tomkatz. I looked at my camera and it
doesn't look as if I can add lense attachments.

Great Pic ramanth! took me a few to realize kia was laying on
the carpet.

Dakota's Mom, yep and if I get too much more up close and
personal, I'm gonna end up with a nose print on my camera
lense.

ParNone, I had to buy an adapter so the different lens would fit on. They screw on to the adapter, and the adapter hooks on to the camera. Maybe just check the web page for the make of camera you have and see if they make adapters for it.

Now here's some eyelashes This is with a hair cut, so they are about 1 1/2 inches long, no hair cut, 3 inches long.

They are so long, you can see them down into her eyes.

Is your Collie a purebred? I have a friend who breeds them, and I have been around alot of the show dogs. I don't think I have ever seen one with such nice big eyes.

My guess as to what kind he was was smooth coated collie, but the blue eyes threw me.

He is a beaut!

Can we see some body shots of your dog? I would love to see a sable merle. I have a blue Aussie, and my friends has all colors of Collies, but I don't think I have ever seen a sabel merle. Sounds pretty.

Yes Oz is a purebred, Smooth Coated Collie. I was told that
normally the Sable Merles lose their mottling and look more like
just a sable and white Collie. And I've also read that blue eyes
on Sable Merles are not desired in the show ring. So I think his
appearance is probably somewhat rare. I love the uniqueness of him. Here's a full shot of him:



Have you got any pics of your Aussie? I actually had planned on
getting a Blue Merle Collie, but fate had other plans.

Oz is gorgious. I too love the blue Collies. I was looking at this really sweet blue bitch that my friend had for sale, but I decided that I needed to focus on the two dogs I have for the time being. Some day though...

Yeah, I have pics of her, but can't seem to post them. I made an album of all my 4 leggers at imagestation.com, called kim's four legged family in the pet, general section. There is one face shot of Ash in there, I got a few more body shots today. But I have to wait for my hubby to up load them to the computer since I am not the "administrator" I can't do it.
