I agree with you Lut...that's a personal pet peeve of mine...when I lived back at home, our neighbor had a middle-aged cat...he was beautiful except they constantly fed him table scraps. The poor thing could hardly waddle, had trouble in the poop department (constant constipation). They said they couldn't resist his pititful eyes. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. That's not looking out for their pet's best interest, which IMHO is much more important than giving in to what the pet wants.
