Hi Lourdes! Happy Pet of the Day!

What a beautiful name for one beautiful creature! As a very young child I had two Box Turtles, LouLou and Pinky, and know just how special your species is!

No big surprise to learn you nabbed the San Francisco Guardian's "Cutest Pet" honors, Lourdes! You're not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well, so sweet and packed with personality!

It was a long and winding road you traveled on your way to your forever home, Lourdes, but as the saying goes, some things are worth the wait! Thanks to your family you were finally living the active, adventure and love filled life you always deserved! But...as former First Lady Michelle Obama, and all mothers 'round the world like to say..."Eat your veggies!"

How lucky your family is, having a best friend as beautiful and smart, as unique and special as you! You're a treasure, Lourdes, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!
