Hi Basil in Sweden! Happy Dog of the Day!

What a handsome English Springer Spaniel you are, Basil! Your long flowing coat, your coloring and markings are gorgeous, and oh, how I'd love to stroke those long, silky ears; love those curls! You may be 12 years young, sweetheart, but you don't look half your age! And though you may be slowing down a tad, especially following that very serious inury last summer, it's clear you're still enjoying life and your humans to their fullest! How lucky your family is, Basil, having known the love and companionship of a best furry friend as special as you these past many years! They just don't come any sweeter, any more loving than you! As your human says, you've never met a stranger; a friend to all, humans and animals alike, that you are! That makes you #1 in my book!
