    Awww, you and he will be in our prayers that he remain his happy self as long as possible.

    And think of it this way: If not for you, he surely would have died years ago, without the veterinary care, attention and love you gave him when first you rescued him. So all his happy years (as it turns out) with you have been a bonus for him!

    I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Dasher has overcome so many health issues in his lifetime
    Prayers that with your help he is able to live pain free for a long time yet.

    Val, I am so sorry to read this news. I'm sure it is a shock for you as well.

    Dasher, though, has no clue. He is living in the moment, as doggies do, and loving his time with you. Make the most of this time you have with him.

    And what Karen said; she said it so well, much better than I could. He was one lucky boy to be adopted by you! Keep on building memories.

    See how it goes. For him to get a balanced diet, you may also want to add some kibble to the broth and blend that. I know dogs have to get certain vitamins and minerals, and no idea if he will get everything he needs with chicken, rice and broth.

    So very sorry to hear the news----I lost 3 of my dogs to cancer. I'm glad he's still being his happy self. Enjoy the time he has, it's so hard to lose our friends.
