Hi Lucky! Happy Thanksgiving Day Pet of the Day,to you! Could we have hoped for a more fitting, more worthy Turkey Day honoree than you? What a gorgeous gobbler girl you are, Lucky, and oh yes, SO very lucky in so many ways! I just love that shot of you in your chef's hat, with your, um, unsuspecting chicken pals behind you and those signs, lol! Way better being the cook than the entree, right Lucky? I'm so happy to hear you've received a permanent reprieve by your parents, knowing that for all the days of your life you'll be joining them at the table, not on the table! Yes, you are one lucky, lucky bird, but your parents equally lucky, having a most unique, sweet and loving best feathered friend in you!

Hi Lucky, it's nice to meet you. Wow! You really are a lucky bird to not be among those shipped out for Thanksgiving dinner. It sure sounds as if you are a friendly turkey and I'm glad you have lived four years.... hope you get four more. Being a vegetarian, I wish ALL turkeys could be as lucky as you! I am thrilled that you were spared the awful fate of the others, and I wish you many more Thanksgiving years to rejoice, and to also remember your fallen comrades.
