Isabelline, you are so precious! Your silky feathers just beg people to pet you, I'm sure. I like how you come to your devoted guardian when called, and keep the other hens in line with your assertive personality. When I read that you had only one eye, I thought the explanation would be that another chicken or rooster pecked out your eye. I was relieved that was not the case, and besides it seems you could hold your own against any other bird, no matter how big. Hope you have a splendid POTD celebration and get your favorite treats and lots of special attention, dear Isabelline!

Your sweet picture made me smile. My mom had a bantam rooster for a pet when I was a youngster. What a fun fellow he was. I can tell you bring just as much joy to your family. I hope you are having a wonderfully fun day.
