Hello Cleo, you sweet pretty little girl! Poor little thing was a stray and you had an eye that had to be removed. I got tears as I read your story that thankfully has a happy ending. You must have been a very brave little girl to survive until you were rescued. Now you have a wonderful home and there is no doubt but that you are loved and cared for. I love the photo of you and Max. Humans, Thank you so much for adopting Cleo; she is precious. I too have a soft spot for chihuahuas and I know how sweet and smart they are. Congrats on being DOTD! Oh, I too am in tears after reading your heart wrenching, nail biting, bio., you family's loving tribute to their brave, beautiful girl; their miracle angel! You truly are a survivor, and an inspiraiton to us all! I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your eye, Cleo, but it's clear you haven't let it keep you from living life to its fullest, and you couldn't be more beautiful if you tried!

I can only imagine the dread in your future Mommy's heart, Cleo, that day you went missing, and the indescribable sense of relief and joy when you appeared out of the brush! And yes, brother Max truly is a HERO, and we give great thanks to him and to everyone who had a hand in rescuing you!

You had a tough start in life Cleo, but from here on in it's nothing but the best for you, only the finest of accomodations, including your very own pink doggie hideaway to rest in, and your very own pool to float around in with Mom and Max! But nothing beats that unconditional love you receive from your forever family and Max, each and every day, right sweetheart? What a great ending, what a great beginning, for one most deserving doggie and her family! How blessed you are to have found one another!
