I have felt this way for many years. Casey was the best friend I ever had. Some day I will have another dog when the time is right. For now I have 3 purrfect kitties!

My favorite bumper sticker of late...My cat makes me so happy. You...not so much! LOL! Only thing I ever get from Calvin..loves and purrs. And the occasional 5AM wake up call to fill his dish!

I don't have a dog but I do have 6 loyal cats. I prefer hanging out with my cats than with most people these days.

There's a song in "Bye Bye Birdie" (movie and play) called "Kids". I couldn't help but think of a line in the song that says, "...you know where you stand with a pet." I'll take animals over people!
