What a handsome boy you are, with the prettiest coat and the sweetest face! And I'm sure that "poor puppy" look of yours works wonders at dinnertime, too. It has always worked with my kids!
I'm so, so happy that you found your way to such a loving forever home and family, Nike! Bless them for rescuing you! It sounds as though you had a very rough go of it early on in life, sweetheart, but those sad and scary times are behind you now, with nothing but happy, love filled years to look forward to! And despite the scars left behind by the abuse you suffered, you've already made such great strides, and I'm sure with all of that unconditional love being heaped upon you by your family, and with a little time, you'll grow into the most confident, trusting pup on the planet!
