ICK - bats!!! Yeah - I know that they are beneficial and eat lots of bugs, but they freak me out! I practically have to dodge them after dark when I take the pups out for a potty call, since they swoop in around the outside flood lights that are on and that attract many varieties of bugs.I've started turning the lights out on the back of the house when I go out, then turn them back on again when we are safely inside.

Such cool looking critters, I like bats, it's always fun to see them and hope they are eating all the mosquitos who would otherwise be biting me!
