Your Buddy sounds like my Buddy! I remember one time I was minding my own business, eating a PB sandwich and he suddenly sunk his claws in the sandwich and I had to fight to get it back. Eve will try to steal your food too, but at least with her I can pick her up with one hand and put her on the ground.
