Karen, you did it again!! Such a beautiful poem; it describes that moment and that place perfectly, just as if you've been there with me! Wow

    Pat, thanks a lot!

That's how evocative your photos are! I'd say we should meet in the middle and do a gallery show some day, but that would likely put us somewhere mid-Atlantic ocean ... not many visitors out there!

You amazed me again with your pictures Kirsten. You have to keep trying to get some art magazines to publish those.
The second picture was my favourite, I sat and stared at it with such a feeling of being there, just so peaceful and tranquil.

Karen the poem you wrote to go along with the second picture was also amazing, very well written, made one feel the reality of the picture. Maybe we could have a talent section on the forum.

    Nothing says
    Spring is undeniably here
    Quite like the sight of
    A tightly curled fiddlehead frond
    Fuzzy and green, delicate and
    Slightly mysterious
    Showing little hint of
The ferny glory it will unfurl
    Smelling of damp and greenness
    Like a secret closely kept
    Waiting
    Just waiting
    To burst forth
    I've Been Frosted

Yes, the mid-Atlantic ocean area would probably be a bad choice, but maybe we could present our work on a website?

Love the two new poems you've posted! You really captured the emotions of my pictures and put them into beautiful words!
