Prayers and warmth and good energies for dear Lili, and you too, Melissa.

    Hi all-

Sorry for not getting back to you all sooner. Lili had 8 teeth pulled. All 6 incisors from her top and bottom were pulled and 2 molars on her left and right top.

Poor girl. She was also spayed as well.

Last night it was a rough night for me. I slept out on the couch and my little Lili was asleep in her bottom of her cat carrier box sleeping away all night last night.

Lili did so well at the vets. She does have some pain meds right now for her teeth. She is resting most of the time right now but I'm sure in a couple more days she will be feeling better.

Thank you all and please continue the prays that her mouth heals up just fine.

    Thanks!
    Melissa

Well I have a fun-filled weekend. Lili didn't move much around on Saturday but we just thought it was the pain pills that knocked her out but then the evening came and we had supper and she wasn't interested and she was hiding under a chair which wasn't Lili at all, anytime someone has food she is right there wanting to have a taste.

I started to get a little scared when she wouldn't eat any can food and she felt hot.

I took her temp and it was 103.8

I called the vets office right away and luckily if it's an emergency it goes to this other line where you can tell them your name, the pets, name, emergency type, etc.

We got a call back within 5 mins. I think. I was so glad it was the lady vet too, she's just so nice. We explained what was going on and we had clavamox at home because we got extra when Hercules and Apollo because sick. The vet informed us to give Lili 1 clavamox for now and see how she does the rest of the night and she would call us again on Sunday morning.

The vet then called about 1/2 hr. later asking if we felt she needed to be seen that night and we said no, she should do ok with the clavamox. After giving her the clavamox she went back to sleep and I spend the night out on the couch to keep an eye on her. I was so worried, I was up throughout the night checking on her and she even came up to see me twice.

By morning she seemed a little better but I took her temp and it was 98.9 which didn't seem right since last night it was high the night before. The vet called Sunday morning to see how she was doing and we told her we thought she was going to be getting better after a few more doses and since we had an appt. scheduled on Monday @ 1 p.m. for Sebastian we were going to bring Lili in if that was ok.

Well the vet said why don't you come in with Lili and bring the other guy.

I was so surprised so we quickly got everyone together and headed to the vets at 8:15 a.m.

Lili's temp. was 102.8. She said her belly was still a little swollen but with the clavamox that should help.

She showed up her teeth, I just didn't want to hurt her or anything like that but they look really good the top row is still inflammed but hopefully that will settle down.

After we gave Lili her second dose she began to look better, Saturday night she was fine wanting food and Sunday went much better. She is doing so well now and I'm so glad.
