Unfortunately, the animal abuse laws in this country suck. I'm a member of CT Votes for Animals and we've been trying to get them changed from a misdemeanor to a MANDATORY felony with fines and jail time.
The states in this country need to take a stand FOR THE ANIMALS, since they cannot speak for themselves.
I hope Ohio will set a groundbreaking point that animal abuse WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!!
