Dear Friends,
Thank you for sharing Jack with us. He's a handsome lad and obviously good-natured. It would be nice if you could eventually get him to be an indoor kitty all the time as they live longer. There's just too many things outside which can hurt a kitty. I used to have outdoor kitties thirty years ago and they just didn't live that long.
We have a female kitty named Erin, after a hurricane which was coming in at the time we took her home. She had been a barn kitten and had ended up at a humane society at a neighboring county. As for "feral" catrs never making good pets, it never bothered her at all. Her being a kittne may have had a lot to do with it. Anyway, she's 17 years old now and quite truly in the prime of her life. She's as spry now as she was ten years ago.
Take care. May the Lord bless you for taking care of young Jake. He's a handsome lad. I expect the neighboring kitties are quite envious of his soul patch. Quite truthfully, so am I.
May the Lord hold each of you close to His Heart.
My love to all in Christ Jesus, my Lord,
