Gary, My mom (RB) had a Scottish Terrier that was raised with cats. Molly would sit along the back of the couch and in the window which she could reach via a chair. yeah, the one with the train was fun to watch unfold. He started on the windowsill watching the train go around the track and I guess the temptation was just too much he had to join in. Lady is very funny about him. She'll play with him, she'll try to groom him but when he tries to cuddle up with her she wants nothing to do with him touching her, I think because he's so unpredictable.
RIP Lady, Thursday's won't be the same without you to cuddle with by the fire
