Hey there. Congratulations on Nisga being dog of the day! I remember the day you showed up at my job with the tiny little ball of white fluff in your arms. It doesn't seem like nine years at all, but she's still as beautiful as ever.

I hope others will take note of the blood donor practice so that more dogs can get involved in that worthy cause as well.

Nisga, You are gorgeous, really lovely!! What a good thing you do by giving blood to help other pets. I must say I had never even thought about the need...until now. What a wonderful, beautiful blend of two of my all time fave breeds you are, Nisga! You have the most loving face, and I just love your thick, golden coat! (Having being mom to a yellow Lab and Husky at the same time, I can well relate to that 4lbs of fur shedding!) My heart melted at the sight of you in your festive, holiday bandanna, posing so sweetly with Santa, and being the loving, caring, giving girl that you are, giving back so selflessly to other doggies in need of life giving blood, no doubt Santa will be granting all of your wishes! You truly are an angel, Nisga!
I'm so sorry you're no longer able to run, that you had to go through two very serious surgeries to get you back up on all 4 paws; what a brave and courageous girl you are! But blessedly you're all better now, healed and whole once more, and if you asked my Lab, she'd tell you swimming is just as fun...and great exercise!
