Jake, You are beautiful!! It was a pleasure to read about you. Thank Goodness, your human found you when you wandered away. Poor fella, guess that taught you, eh, as s/he said you had never done it again. You really are a pretty dog (is pretty ok for a boy), ok, handsome boy. I liked all the photos but that one of you as a pup was adorable. It is obvious that you are loved & have a wonderful home. I hope all of you have many more years together. Kay in NC

Hi Jake! Greetings and a very happy Dog of the Day to you, beautiful boy! Could you be any more handsome? hehe And as a puppy, you're cuteness rating was totally off the charts! I was so surprised when I read you were an Aussie! You have a bit of the look of a Pyrenees (head) and Swiss Mountain Dog (coat) about you! And oh, those soft, loving eyes of yours are heartmelters! Kudos to the fabulous photographer who snapped those great shots of you; they look professional, and you Jake, are definitely doggie calendar worthy material!

I can't imagine why you weren't scooped up in a heartbeat Jake, but perhaps that was because your ticket home had already been punched by your family to be, and oh, wasn't it worth the wait, and that long, long drive! Your destiny had already been determined; as they say, it was meant to be!

More than a few of us sadly, have experienced that gut wrenching, stomach sinking feeling; that feeling of utter panic when we realize a beloved furkid is missing, and I can just imagine the fear and sadness your Mommy was feeling the moment she realized you had gone missing. Thank goodness for that dear little girl who led her to you; the joy at finding you safe (if a bit worse for the wear), no doubt was indescribable!

You're one extra special pup, Jake, and your family, your doggie pals, so very blessed to have a loyal, protective, devoted and loving best friend and furkid in you!!! I also thought you looked like you had some great pyr mixed in with you , in fact your puppy pic is almost like my pyrs ,i didnt know that australian shepards were born so fluffy.
