The treatment options at this point are not pleasant. It will probably involve surgery if they can't, once again, get things calmed down. I'm hoping there's some new therapy he can try; surgery is not something either of us think would be the best option.
Thanks everyone for the prayers - I'll report after the specialist tomorrow.![]()
GO RAVENS!!
Thoughts and prayers going out for you and for Coop. I'm hoping that things will improve for him, and that his pains will be able to be managed, and that any surgery be fast and fix him permanently.

My assistant suffers from spinal stenosis. She is on various pain meds, but she also wears this thing that is attached at her hip, and it sends nerve signals out to negate the pain that she feels. I'm not sure how to explain it other than, it crosses the pain signals and she feels less pain with this contraption that she wears. Has he been offered anything like that??
I think Lut had something like that installed. It worked really well for her back pain.
ETA They're called TENS units - here is info from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcu...ve_stimulation

You got it Candace... a TENS unit. I'm pretty sure that's that what she called it.
