To Rainbow's mom. You are so awesome. I am so glad you went and got this lovely boy. It was meant to be.

Rainbow you stole my heart. What an incredibly beautiful,loving, intelligent, funny boy you are.

Your sweet notes to Rainbow and his lucky Mom (me) have all been a delight to read. Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts and best wishes. This giant bird (a cross between a Blue & Gold macaw and a Greenwing Macaw) is a circus of excitement each and every minute of the day. I can NOT imagine how boring my life would actually be were he not in it. It's been my privilege to have him as part of the family. What a blessing, big beak and all. (And for those of you who wonder what a beak that size feels like when it forgets its power, pinch yourself with a pair of pliers then pinch the same spot again. That's almost close.) Sadly, the way he says "Hello?" after a rare pinch gets him forgiven probably before he should be!
