But I have to admit that when it comes to an expressive face, you take the prize! That wide eyed look of surprise is the best!

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved predecessor, Scotty. But thankfully your family had enough love in their hearts for two, opening up their home to another deserving doggie, and going the adoption route to boot! One beautiful, deserving doggie finds her forever family and in the process hearts are healed! What a happy ending all around! And extra thanks to your humans for being so patient, giving you all the time you needed to adjust to your new home and people! It's not always an easy transition, but it's clear you're already a full fledged, much love and cherished, member of the family! What a treasure they have in you, Dasha!
