Oh, Myssy! You are darling. I especially love calico cats. My late Mother had a beautiful calico named Melissa or "Missy" for short. And our darling calico was Sasha the Cat which is my ID on this site.
We wish you and your little =^..^= Nessu the happiest lives: loved, cherished and adored which is what every pet deserves. Live long and prosper Miss Myssy and Nessu!
The Palace residents are Norman the King (marbled Bengal tabby) and Felix the Prince (Maine Coon). Norman is a recycled kitty and Felix a rescued one. They are the =^..^=s of the Palace ... but wait!
The Palace has a bachelor apartment and another kitten lives there. He is Baby Rascal who adopted us and the apartment in July. He is about 10 months old now. We had him neutered, vaccinated checked inside out. Baby Rascal he is in residence until we find him a home as good as the one he has here (promised Paw Paw I'd find him a good home but, wink-wink, my standards are so high that he's going nowhere away from me).
Before Baby Rascal came and laid his claim an older, abandoned black beauty whom we call Ebony came to dine under the balcony where at the window where I feed him. Ebony is an intact male kitty but no way can we catch him.
Almost a year now since Ebony first came; he has a bed with covers to hide under. Ebony will stick his head in the window and he lets me pet his head -- but just down to the tip of his shoulder blades!! If I go lower, Ebony backs up, makes eye contact, and gives a low growl. So long as he comes, we will care for Ebony the best we can. We really wish he'd just jump in the window and live inside The Palace...
Back to you, darling Myssy ... at The Palace we're having a big party in your honour. Cat treats, new squeaky toys and feather sticks, plus catnip. We salute you, beautiful girl on your special day as Cat of the Day and send lot'sa kittykisses (human ones too) to you and Nessu.
All of us from the Palace
