    Nice photos!

I can only assume you had hubby along with you, taking at least one of the photos!

I am not sure I could tackle the trails, however tame you claimed they were, since I am getting OLD and haven't been hiking much in the past year.

Thanks for sharing the photos! It looks as though you had a perfect day for the trip!

How beautiful, and I love the cows, too!

I absolutely love the mountains! A few years back I spent 6 glorious days visiting friends in the Colorado Rockies. Once you stand on top of a 14,000 foot mountain nothing else comes close.

Last May, my son spent 14 days in Vienna, Budapest, Prague and Venice with the International Scholar Laureate Program. He said they went back to Vienna from Venice through the Alps. He says the scenery was awesome and they didn't know where to look first. And yes, Mike said there were a lot of cows complete with their bells.

Looks a wonderful day for it, Barbara. We had torrential rain on Saturday, you could hardly see 6 feet in front of you.

The cows are adorable! I am slightly disappointed that they are not those slightly purple Alpine cows though.

Is it true Alpine cows have shorter legs on the uphill side?

I am, of course, insanely jealous....I'll trade you...
