I keep saying "attitudes are changing" about this cholesterol thing and more and more people are wanting to learn how to eat healthy rather than take drugs.

I realized a l-o-n-g time ago that my Grandma ate everything loaded with real butter, everything she cooked, there was butter in it. She also saved her bacon grease and dipped her biscuit in that grease... that was her breakfast. Everything that was fried, was fried in real lard. She never has heart disease. Those were the days before "man" started tampering with our food.

As for the margarine/butter thing... there use to be a man on TV that said grease is GREASE, no matter what you call it and I always had a hard time eating something that didn't melt on a hot roll or biscuit.

(I wish I could remember that man's name, he was so funny but very informative. He was a tall shinny guy and was on PBS... anyone remember him or what his name was? He was on back in the 70's I think)
