Mr. B, you were certainly a big, handsome boy! It's so hard on us humans when you furkids have to go away and cross the Rainbow Bridge. I pray that you'll check in on your family w/skin and let them know that you're around.

We lost our 21-year-old boy, Tomas, in July. We still think of him and have his ashes on our mantle above the fireplace. We swear our new kitty, Mau Mau, channels his spirit! She does so many of the things Tomas used to do! She is the same size and personality as him and we sometimes wonder. When we first saw her at the shelter, she peeked out from under a towel and meowed the sweetest little meow at us. After my boyfriend fell in love with her and adopted her, we noticed how much she reminds us of Tomas. They let you know they are OK in one way or another. As long as they are in your heart, they're never really gone.
