I saw that on the Huffpost. I searched google and there's a note that said the horse sustained no longtime damage. Poor thing. At the least he must have been very sore.
As for Exotic Dancer, he died of a heart attack shortly after the race. Tragic.

De Luain Gorm was the horse that took this fall. Looking at the
pictures, I wouldn't have thought he could have walked away from
a fall like that.

I did read about Exotic Dancer. I heard this particular chase has
sixteen or seventeen very tall jumps in about 2 1/2 miles course.
