"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

Glad Heidi and Coda are becoming friends. They look like they were having tons of fun playing. And what cuties they are!![]()
Wow- that must be the best introduction ever. I can't believe how relaxed Coda is- after all it isn't his territory yet.
And Heidi seems so ready to share.
And both are such beautiful kitties![]()
I'm practically in tears, I'm so touched by how beautiful and perfect this all is!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Milly & Izzy
I love it! They are both so lovely and seem to really enjoy each other. I wish things were going that well at our house. Our boy kitty is just not accepting our new girl kitty, and she is the sweetest thing ever!
I have had kitties my whole life, I have NEVER seen anything like this!!! I wonder if it's because they were both so bonded to me by the time they met? When I moved here, all of my stuff smelled of him, so she had already smelled him, she had even slept on my blanket that had his hair all over it. I really didn't expect any "attitude" from him, he showed me that he could accept just about anything. He was raised with a Golden Retreiver and other cats, he was moved into my mom's with her cats and all her Yorkies and took it all in stride. It was Heidi I feared would try to put her foot down and kick him OUT! To bring him in HER house and only get 1 very small hiss was beyond anything I've ever heard of.
To top it off, tonight I went into the kitchen to make myself a tea, I came running back in here to tell Dave of the scene on our bed!! The two of them were laying with their heads almost touching sound asleep!! I did get some pics of that, but I won't be able to pull them from the camera until tomorrow. Can't wait to post those!!
Missing Coda No More!! So glad he's with me again!
