Keira, and many other Dobermans, smile naturally. I think Chesapeakes and Dalmatians are known for "smiling" as well. Spring does it too. I haven't found a way to teach them to do it on command yet, but I've tried!

I just LOVE when dogs do that. Not much is cuter! We hav a couple of dogs come into the grooming shop that will smile and we always try to get them to do it for us when they are there.
I am not sure you can actally teach a dog to smile. But if they already have the ability I am sure you could train them to do it on command.
