Skya is getting spayed

Definately, prayers for Skya. I hope all goes well. I see she still has that
precious head tilt going on.

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts! She's at the vet now. She was so scared, poor girl.

She passed the blood test fine. She weighs 26.7 lbs. Now I just get to be a nervous wreck all day waiting to pick her up. *sigh*

Skya is home. It was not fun driving to get her...its a nasty snowstorm out there. It took us an hour and a half to drive what would normally take a half hour. She's doing okay, she's really drugged up and out of it, more than I remember Keva being. She's thrown up once and I can tell she really doesn't feel well. Keva has been following her around and laying by her.

As for the upset tummy - whip up a batch of well-cooked lean hamburger
and some white rice to give her in the morning. Not too much -
just a few bytes to see if she can keep it down.

Poor Skya!! I remember when I brought Boomer home from his neuter, he pooped, piddled, and threw up almost as soon as we hit the door. I know she'll feel so much better tomorrow!! Give her a kiss from Boomer and Cass Dog....
