Well today I finally decided that I would put foil down and see what happens. Just about 2 weeks ago I got a new rug, really cheap one from Walmart for less than $3.00 and put it by the front door today I went to check it, it had pee on it...I have to say though I haven't checked it since I put it down so that rug was tossed and now I have foil around my house...one in front of the microwave since that's been her new spot...the other one by the front door taped up of course and I tried to put one in front of the oven since that's another good spot for her and sure enough Sophia (yes the new one eyed one) decided to play with the foil and not leave it along instead she wanted to drag it around the house....so that's removed for now.

I purchased some feliaway plug ins from Ebay so hopefully that will help her and taking her for some more car rides so I'm hoping that will help.

Thank you all for your help...sorry about ranting this morning I was just so ticked that it was on my counter....of all the places..

    Thanks,
    Melissa

I'm getting so mad.....I finally just got the feliway but this better help fast....she's peeing all over....it's getting to the point...where I'm thinking rehoming her might be best....but I hate to do that...as well.

MEDICATION. This has been suggested a few times. Try it!

The right med and right dose will not make her wobbly, and will likely stop the behaviour.

    Medusa has mentioned Clomicalm.

JUST TRY IT. Or YOU will have to be on tranquilizers.

Amen! I understand not wanting to medicate our cats but when it gets to this point, it's better than having to rehome them unless you want to live in a giant litter box. I have my pee cats tested once a year and they've had no side effects or medical issues whatsoever from Clomicalm and the peeing stopped almost immediately. If you don't want to try that, then try the kitty Prozac. I hear it works well, too. Feliway did not work for my cats but all cats are different just as humans are. A med that works for me may not work for someone else.
    Blessings,
    Mary

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having problems. Have you tried the Cat Attract Litter yet? This worked wonders when both Storm and Starr were peeing outside of the box.

Both of them are also now on 1/4 of a 10mg tablet of the generic form of Prozac which is Fluoxetine HCL. They're on it to help them be less stressed out and calmer. So far so good. Starr has very few poop accidents now and Storm rarely tries to chase his siblings around and act aggressive towards them.

I had this prescription filled at Costco which is similar to a Sam's club and I got 60 tablets for a little over $7.00. I use a pill splitter to cut them up. Since they taste nasty, I've been putting them in chicken flavored pill pockets which I also cut up into 4 pieces first. They now love taking this medicine. I sure hope that you'll find something that'll work for you quickly. Good luck.
