There isn't anything that I can add to Catlady711's post; it's really excellent. I just want to add that my Pigeon was 18 when she last had her teeth cleaned and she came through just fine, didn't even lose any teeth! Good luck and please keep us updated.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Good, her health will thank you for it.

Keep us posted when it's done and we'll all send extra special PT thoughts your way for her to do well and for you and the family also to help you feel better until she's back home with you again.

Thank You! OK...He is going in tomorrow morning for his teeth cleaning. He will have the bloodwork done first and we should get a good sense as to how his kidneys and liver are at this point too. I will let you all know how he does....thanks again.

We'll keep him in our prayers, the Fur Posse and I, but I'm sure that all will go smoothly.

Thanks for keeping us posted. We'll all be thinking of you and hoping that everything comes out good on the lab work and that the teeth are sound.

Prayers that Moon will be in and out of the clinic in no time and home with nice clean teeth by tomorrow afternoon.
My cat Jade was 17 when she had her teeth cleaned and had a tooth removed. She did very well and went on to live for 4 more years. But I do understand your worry as anesthesia is a serious matter. PT prayers that all will go very well! Please update when Mr. Moon is home sweet home.
