I think it had the opposite effect on me.. I found myself wanting to hit stop on the video to shut him up . The "hysterical" yelling was too much for me to really take in what he was saying

I did hit stop! What a waste of air. If the listener cannot understand your message you have not communicated..no matter how clever you may think you are!

I used to skip by the LA City channel because it was the same talking heads all the time.

He's made the council meetings more appealing to me because I pay attention to them, waiting to see what is going on in Lost Angeles....

And while it's probably not the best way to get people to notice, it does draw attention to the council meetings.
