How is sweet Emma doing?
Still confined to the crate, the doc wants her on exercise restriction for fourteen weeks... suuuuch a long time, we do let her out for an hour or so every night while we clean out the cage.
Her spirit is still high, and she's getting used to our new routine. Her stool seems a little bloody though, but it was just one spot on the carpet so I'm not even sure if it was from her or my brother-in-law (he cut his foot open on a broken bowl yesterday -- poor thing!).
Still trying to get her used to diapers, she wants NOTHING to do with them!! It's gonna be rough until she does get used to them though, but other than that she's doing very well. Her incision on her tail has healed great and the fur is starting to grow back.![]()
I'm glad to hear that Emma is healing well and doing well.Hopefully in time she won't even need to wear any diapers.
Aw, that's such great news that Emma is doing well. She sounds like she still has plenty of life left in her; it made me smile to read about how she objects to diapers, I can't imagine how long it would have taken to get Zsa-Zsa to wear one (she used to object violently enough to collars!). She does remind me of Zsa-Zsa somewhat. I'll be thinking of her and hoping she gets better!
Oh, and I must congratulate you on being so patient with all this - it can't be the nicest of jobs having to keep her and her litter box clean all the time, so well done you!![]()
It is so wonderful to see sweet Emma. SHe looks great. She truly is quite the trooper. I have to agree with others, you have been so wonderful and so patient with sweet Emma. You guys have made a great team. I am sending positive vibes your guys way, and I am confident that she will get a little better each and every day. I know it can be tough, but you guys are doing such a wonderful job. Keep it up!![]()
