Phred, I could have walked to Hippos from my house. It's weird not to see it standing. I drove by the site this afternoon and the shell has been taken down.

David, could you see the smoke from the fire, at the time? It is so sad, we haven't got much "history" in this country as in Europe, and then an old building (by our standards) goes up in flames.

Freedom, my house is on sort of on a hill above Hippo's. There's some trees in the way, but I could still see a lot of smoke.
