Enchanting Elena

Hi,

I sent the photo and story of Elena.

Elena walks around just like she knows she's cat of the day... but wait, euh... she always walks around like that!

We also have a dog (who also has been DOTD in the past, see http://dogoftheday.com/archive/2007/January/25.html).
Elena is not only playing with Minou, she also likes to fool around with Lucky and Mitzy.
Besides our 4 cats, we are also taking care of 2 other cats, Shiva and Blew. They are staying with us for 6 month to maybe 2 years because their mom is in the hospital. Their mom often visits them.

Oh my, when I saw Elena's picture, I thought I saw a replica of our own Maya!! And then I noticed that Elena lives in BELGIUM !!! If I am right, "Beselare" is a small town in the neighbourhood of Ypres!

you are right, Beselare is a small town near Ypres!
(and Ypres is also called "the cat-city" with a cat-parade each 3 years)

It warms my heart to see how many animal lovers are out there in the world.
I feel that many times in my life I would have been lost without a cat by my side. They give more unconditional love than humans are capable of.
