    construction of the enclosure

    I'll gather some photos of the whole process - we did it in two phases to get to this point. Next we are going to add a permanent roof - right now it is just lattice and we would like to keep out the rain eventually.
    I'll post them and send you a link on tribeof7.com - give me a couple of days to find all the photo files.

    We did all the work ourselves - hubby is very handy at designing and we both have woodworking skills and the tools to do it, so cost was materials only - and sweat on our part. I would say $800-$1000 so far - the roof and gutter system will be at least that in addition.

    Well I'm glad to see that you have not just frittered away your time while you have not been here. What a fantastic porch you have built. It looks so cool and airy, and The Tribe will be grateful for it during the whole summer.

    I love your new porch/deck and it looks like all of your cats love it too!
    I'd really like to see more photos of you putting it together since we are planning to build a new deck this summer.

    Oh boy, do I love that porch. I've been wanting one myself, I know Oscar, and Grover would absolutely love it!
