I recently had Ozzy's teeth cleaned, and he is 15 yo. There was no problem with putting him under and he did just fine. He also drank water the night before the surgery.

My biggest problem was that everyone was also "deprived" of food the night before the surgery, so I had some very unhappy campers

Fister will do just fine with this and he will be ready for some shrimp tomorrow night for his treat!
