Yeah, sometimes an hour at once is just too much for some dogs. Try 15 or 20 minutes at a time, allowing her to come indoors and cool off before going back out again. Heat stroke can be VERY serious and sudden and very little can be done, so taking proper precautions may just possibly save a life.

EDIT: Also, it is a myth that dogs and cats eat grass when they are feeling ill. They eat grass just to eat it![]()
