Was going to ask that question too but forgot to .
I once owned a rabbit, him name was Halloween (because it was black and october). We owned him for like 3 months, but we gave it to my moms friend cause she had more space for him. While we had him, he was in this little cage (we let him out whenever we was home) that was about 3x his size. We got him for free, he was sitting in a pawn shop and they didnt want him. Reggie didnt seem to mind Halloween being around, she was kinda scared of the little black fluffball! He would watch TV for hours, then fall asleep. I held him most of the time he was out of his cage, but i let him on the floor for a little while to get exercise. That kinda got too long lol.

    Thanks for the petting!

Miss Hoppy doesn't mind telling people her age. She is ten years old, but will be eleven years old toward the end of May!

the dwarf breeds tend to live almost twice as long as the giant breeds. I've heard of Netherland Dwarfs living as long as 14 years.

As Miss Hoppy is a mutt bunny - I mean a mixed breed, we don't know what her average life span would be. We suspect she may be a Netherland Dwarf/Rex mix, as she's bigger than an ND, but has the "fold" in her ears that they do, but her ears are bigger than an ND's ears typically are, and yet she's not as big as a Rex. Books all say bunnies live 5-8 years, but her specialist vet says a healthy bunny can live to be 15 in ideal circumstances. Miss Hoppy's regular vet calls her "the miracle bunny" because she is doing so well after her thymoma and radiation treatment for it last fall.
