The cat of your childhood will always hold a place of honor in your memory.
You speak so well of him, I'm sure he will always feel close to you.

I cried for the cat of my childhood for many years after he left, and now I think of him and get a very warm feeling.

    Godspeed to the Bridge, Rush

You will see him again, One Fine Day.

Rush is healthy and playing at the Bridge.

Rush - let your people know you are ok, give them a sign.

It looks like he was 'left-pawed' - did he reach out his paw to touch you or when he wanted something? I see him doing something like that in the pics.

Beautiful boy, handsome, and loved all his life for who he was...and let go when he could no longer be. What a blessed life he had with you and your family. A lucky boy!

How touching your story is of your handsome tiger boy Rush. They sure can leave their pawprints on our hearts, can't they, especially the ones that we say are just stupid pee cats. LOL (Believe me, I know. ) Your sweet boy Rush is resting at the Bridge now, soon to play and romp and be the big, strong cat he always was. Take comfort in this and know that he'll greet you happily one day. RIP, sweet Rush and peace to you, his remaining family.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Thanks guys. Having another cat around (Pheobe), no matter how deamon possesed she is, has helped a bit. At least the house still has one furry beast who thinks she rules us all.

Yep, if he wanted pet, a door opened, food, whatever he'd come up to us and paw at our leg. In all of the photos but the last one he was following me around (or in the case of the first two, waiting for me) to give him his canned cat food. It was annoying at times and endering at others, but at all times it was just Rush.
