    Wonderful news! I'm glad to hear all is well with her.
    Wow, she's drop dead gorgeous. I guess I need to spend more time on PT so I don't miss out on seeing such beautiful dogs! :]

    This makes me smile too! I'm so happy for her, what a great home you've given her! Now that she's been with you a bit, do you still think she's stone deaf? At least she's talking, taking care of business.

    I am glad Pirate's bloodwork came out fine. She deserves to be able to enjoy her retirement years - thanks for giving her that chance.

    More or less. She hears very loud, sudden sounds, like when I drop a metal dish. She doesn't respond to a normal tone of voice at all, unless she's looking at me. She makes alot of eye contact. As long as she looking at me, she seems to be able to figure out what I want from her. She's picked up a few hand signals too.
