*UPDATE*Brother's Cat At Vets! My Brother's Cat Digit 11 yrs. old Needs PRAYS!

Well my brother had Digit at the vets on Saturday morning and the vet decided she needed to keep him over the weekend and get him better.

Digit has yellow jodnas (sp?) it's a problem with his liver.

The vet called my sister yesterday (got confused about which # I think to call) and told my sister that he was seeming a little better and that he's now more hydrated so we'll see.

I'm not sure if she is going to running more test but my sister being a PA said that the one level in his liver was very high and usually in people if that number is high means they should start looking for cancer that has spread to the liver.

So I saw Digit this morning (since I took Anika into get her teeth done) and he just seemed very lethargic so I'm hoping he pulls though but he just didn't look good.

Hugs and prayers for Digit. The condition is jaundice, which means bile is getting into the system. His gums will show signs of being pale or discoloured.

It can be a sign of a few things...hopefully another night of hydration and care will help him pull through.

I pray that it is not cancer.

Sorry to hear about the liver problems. I hope they are able to get it treated and a full recovery from this.

I talked with the vet yesterday about Digit and she said that he is looking much better than he did when he first came in.

He's hydrated now and the reason why he got Jousdas is because of this other thing in his blood but not cancer so hopefully he will do better. I gave him a toy yesterday and also a blanket for him to lay on. I feel so bad for him he's so grumpy there which is not is personality at all but I guess I'd feel like that after being poked and what not.

Digit please get better we love you so much.
